Hi, I’m Jen, and I’m proud to bake for customers in the Richmond, Virginia area.

My love for baking began in my grandmother’s kitchen, where I spent countless hours experimenting with leftover pie dough scraps and making a joyful mess. Every Saturday, my Gram would host a small gathering filled with desserts, laughter, and family warmth—a tradition she carried on for over 40 years. Those memories of cozy kitchens and sweet moments inspired everything I do today.

I started For the Love of Flour in January 2020 in my home kitchen in Midlothian, VA, with a dream of creating baked goods that bring that same feeling of comfort and joy. As demand grew, I moved into a shared kitchen in 2023, and a year later, I opened our very own bakery in Richmond, where you can now visit us in person.

We offer a variety of treats, including sandwich cookies, pies, simply decorated cakes for all occasions, and other small-bite desserts—each made with care and love.
